About
The Blackwater River flows through the Blackwater Valley in County Waterford in the south east of Ireland from its source in County Kerry. The river is renowned for its salmon fishing but can also offer very good sea trout and brown trout fishing. Ballyduff Bridge Salmon Fishery control some of the best beats (stretches) of this river. The Ballyduff Bridge beat is almost a mile long offering a huge variety of water and is particularly suited to fly fishing. We have a number of other beats approx 5 miles all well suited for Fly/Spin.
