About The Fishery
The Blackwater River flows through the Blackwater Valley in County Waterford in the south east of Ireland from its source in County Kerry.
Ballyduff Bridge Salmon Fishery is a family run fishery hosted by Connie Corcoran and his son Jason.
Between them they have over 90 years of experience guiding & instructing on the Cork Blackwater river.
If it is intimate local knowledge and attention to detail you are after then look no further.
Connie started guiding back in 1961 and there is no other person on the river with his knowledge.
Jason also starting guiding very young at the tender age of  thirteen, absorbing all his Dad's years of experience.
Ballyduff Bridge Salmon Fishery is the largest fishery on the Blackwater in terms of number of beats.
It comprises 7 beats in total spread over 30km of the river - offering fishing  suitable for all river conditions.
There are 3 upper beat (approx. 60kms from the estuary), and 4 on the lower river (approx. 30km from the estuary.)
